Working at Perkins
I'm at a diner in Anoka, Minnesota doing some programming work. Unlike many cafes and diners in my area, this restaurant does not have wireless internet access (I'm posting this from my cell phone).
Strangely, I find I often get more work done on my laptop when I don't have internet access. I can't check email, can't read RSS feeds, and can't read the news. I've never measured it directly, but I think I spend way to much time on those things (rather than actually working). Maybe I should spend more time 'unplugged'.
