i90.org about to go live

I'm now just waiting for the nameservers to get updated so I can test my latest creation - i90.org. It is (I think) a big improvement on tinyurl.com.

I was inspired to write this site based on this post on mambofrog.com.

Hey Jack:

Cool stuff . . . I didn't even know you were blogging but I saw the frog pop up in Technorati this morning. Look forward to checking our i90 (great domain!).

Tim

p.s. I thought domain updates were supposed to be almost instant these days? When I register a new URL and point it to our servers I can typically get to it in about 30 seconds.

p.p.s Subsrcibed to your feed, and finally uncovered the "other" option when commenting to a blogger blog.

I've always had DNS updates happen within a few minutes - this time it took about 5 hours. Maybe the fact that the old i90.org DNS servers didn't exist caused the ISPs to stop checking as frequently for updates.
